About us

Tessera Business Solutions specialise in designing and building professional, affordable online solutions and website designs for small businesses and local organisations.

Our approach

Every client is equally important. Our custom personal approach allows a high degree of flexibility in building solutions which range from professional web site designs through to full online e-commerce applications.

Our clients are typically small businesses and local organisations who are looking for a high-quality but affordable way to promote their products and services within the local area.

Initial design consultations and final handover with prospective clients in Andover and the surrounding areas are usually face-to-face. If you live further afield we may chat on the phone initially and talk through options, but we can be always flexible to meet your specific needs.

For the more confident client we can hand over the completed site for them to maintain, however we do also provide an ongoing maintenance and support service if you would prefer us to look after that side of things for you.

Cost

Our solutions start at £100 for a simple one-page website with email addresses. More complex websites typically cost from £200 upwards depending on complexity, and e‑commerce solutions start from £500.

As each site will be custom-built to the client's requirements the cost will vary, but we will always agree a fixed-price quote with you before starting work.

Microsoft Office Live

We build all our sites using Microsoft Office Live Small Business, which is an internet-based service compatible with all current web browsers. It provides free hosting, content management and email for small businesses, allowing us to build and deliver professional-looking websites at a reasonable price.

Background

Peter Mullens set up Tessera Business Solutions after a career spanning over 35 years in the IT industry, during which he held a wide range of technical, management and consultancy roles with both large and small organisations.

He recognises that many local businesses have a strong need to implement an online solution or website in order to keep up with current business trends, but they do not have the confidence or resources to do this on their own.

The recent emergence of low-cost website hosting and online applications in the ‘cloud’ now provides an unprecedented opportunity to meet this need in a cost-effective manner.
